Why New York?

Inspired by New York’s design scene and fashion-forward energy, we’re so excited to announce that we are expanding our team to serve the East Coast and greater NYC market. For over 15 years, we’ve worked with fabricators, vendors, designers, and clients in the NYC area, making this a logical place to create a home base for building more projects and reaching a wider audience. New York’s position at the forefront of international design and real estate industries means it’s an ideal spot to coordinate projects for clients both domestically and abroad.

The Process

LA Closet Design has years of experience working with clients far and wide. No matter the location, we tackle each project with the same full-service, hands-on approach. NYC clients now have an LA Closet Design team member on hand to take full inventory and measurements of new projects, and to walk clients through each step of the design process. The combination of our New York team’s deep knowledge of the city’s culture and network, along with Lisa’s luxury closet expertise has already resulted in concepts that stand out in the city’s design scene.

After initial consultations, each LA Closet Design project begins with a full inventory of our client’s wardrobe and measurements of the space. When we say everything has its place, we mean it. Taking inventory of our client’s wardrobe ensures a closet that fits our client’s life, down to the last item. We take into account the measurements, inventory, and our client’s every need to create a closet that is as functional as it is stunning. LA Closet Design takes an architectural and interior design approach to every project – producing all architectural drawings and renderings in-house, sourcing materials and furniture, and coordinating the production of each custom item.

LA Closet Design works alongside some of the best local artisans and craftspeople in the industry to carry out the fabrication of our custom designs. With LA Closet Design overseeing the project from start to finish, our clients can be confident in the final result. The LA Closet Design team personally installs our client’s wardrobe at the end of each project, so all our clients have to do is sit back and enjoy the process!
